Hospice of Union County

Hospice of Union County, located in Monroe and Wadesboro, NC, was the first hospice in the state of North Carolina to provide residential treatment for those patients who decided they could no longer remain at home.

Licensed to provide services in Union, Mecklenburg, Anson, Cabarrus and Stanly Counties, our services include:

• In-home care
• Spiritual care
• Care in nursing homes and other facilities
• Residential care in the McWhorter House
• Support assistance from social worker

The house is staffed 24-hours a day and all caregiving and medical treatment is done by qualified professional staff in a nurturing environment.
