 The Institute’s research and administrative headquarters is located on the campus of Carolinas HealthCare System's Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. While the Institute will function as a series of integrated cancer programs distributing high-quality cancer care system-wide, this 171,000-square-foot building will serve as its center for communication, research and administration. It houses nine cancer clinics, infusion therapy, palliative care and clinical trials, and state-of-the-art technology to connect member institutions across the Carolinas, breaking down geographic barriers and improving care. It also includes a Phase I clinical trials unit which will support the administration of novel therapies in the earliest stages of development.
