Pokemon a No Go at CHS Facilities

Since the release of the Pokémon Go app, Carolinas HealthCare System -- like many locations across the area -- has encountered several individuals on CHS property playing the game and searching for virtual GPS locations. It now appears that some players are entering CHS care facilities in order to earn points and continue their games. We would like to remind the community and those players that Carolinas HealthCare System facilities are focused on caring for patients and gaming activities have the potential to distract  from that work. It is important that we keep visitors to our properties and facilities limited to patients, families and friends of patients and those with legitimate hospital business. As always, our security officers will work to ensure that only those with a legitimate reason for being on the property are on our premises.
