The pediatric cardiologists and cardiac surgeons at Levine Children's Hospital, in Charlotte, NC, offer comprehensive evaluation and treatment for infants, children and adolescents in all areas of pediatric cardiology. Levine Children's Hospital continues to be the only facility in the region providing these advanced cardiac services:

  • Pediatric heart transplants
  • Pediatric open-heart surgery
  • ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) -- heart lung bypass to support preemies and children with respiratory failure

  • Pediatric/neonatal cardiac surgery -- the complete spectrum of surgery for congenital heart disease
