What do I need to bring to my appointment?
For new patients, please print and complete the new patient forms from our website. For ALL patient visits, please bring your current insurance or Medicaid cards, plus any prescription medication bottles.
Can I pay my past due balance at my appointment?
Yes, we accept cash, personal checks, Visa, MasterCard and Discover cards.
How early should I arrive for my appointment?
Please arrive approximately ten minutes early for your appointment so we may verify and update any changes to your personal or insurance information. All new patients should arrive 30 minutes early for appointment to complete paper work and for the staff have time to get everything in the computer before you see the doctor at your appointed time.
Weddington Internal Medicine and Pediatrics accepts most major insurance carriers and will assist you in filing claims for health care services. Should you have any questions about any insurance or billing issues, please call our office during normal business hours.
Fees Co-payments, deductibles and co-insurance amounts are due at the time of service. We accept cash, personal checks, Visa, MasterCard and Discover cards. When your insurance has responded, any remaining amount you owe will be billed to you at your home address. Please remit any payment due within 30 days. If you should need to make special arrangements concerning your bill, please call the office prior to your appointment.
Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance companies are accepted. Please remember to bring your insurance cards to each visit so we may file your insurance properly. For insurance providers with which we are not contracted, you will be given a copy of services and charges to file with your insurance claim form. However, as always, it is your responsibility to know your terms and coverage for your own insurance contract as providers are too numerous and varied for our staff to know all details of all available plans.
If your health insurance is provided through Medicaid, you will be asked to show your Medicaid Card at each visit. As you are aware, Medicaid eligibility is determined on a monthly basis. In some cases, the situation changes each month so it is important that we have updated and current information for each visit.
We utilize electronic prescriptions to assure that you receive the best service possible. We will be glad to electronically transmit your prescriptions to one of our CMC Rx pharmacies or the pharmacy of your choice. We encourage you to secure refills at the time of your office visit. If you need to request a refill between visits, contact your pharmacy directly. Prescriptions and refills are only handled during office hours.
