Dr. Yeomans is board certified in psychiatry and neurology. He specializes in the treatment refractory depression, anxiety disorders, personality disorders and sleep disorders.
He is the medical director of the Interventional & Neurocognitive Psychiatry Program at Atrium Health Behavioral Health, a facility of Carolinas Medical Center.
Dr. Yeomans received a teaching award from Atrium Health Behavioral Health and is a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the International Society for ECT and Neurostimulation.
He received his medical degree at St. George’s University and completed a residency at the State University of New York.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 sons, philately, outdoor leisure activities and reading, particularly historical fiction and books on American history.
