The Brain Injury Association of North Carolina (BIANC) Charlotte Resource Office at Carolinas Rehabilitation takes Carolinas Rehabilitation beyond the hospital and into the community, promoting awareness and education about traumatic brain injury (TBI).
Education: Through BIANC, brain injury education is shared with individuals with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and their families, as well as service providers and other professionals in the community. Additionally, community forums are offered on selected topics for individuals who have an acquired disability, such as memory challenges following TBI and caregiver needs.
Support: The Charlotte BIANC office provides assistance to people affected by TBI, including linking them to community resources and support groups.
Community Opportunities: The BIANC Charlotte Resource Office at Carolinas Rehabilitation develops and supports community-based programs for individuals with TBI. We provide assistance to community agencies that develop programs and opportunities for the TBI population.
