“I feel I can make a difference in my patients’ lives by helping reduce symptoms they experience and improving their quality of life.”
Dr. Crook is board certified in family medicine and specializes in hospice and palliative medicine.
Her interest in practicing family medicine came from the ability to enjoy helping a full range of patients at different ages. She later moved into the subspecialty of hospice and palliative medicine because she wanted to make a positive impact on the lives of those facing potentially life-limiting illnesses.
Dr. Crook received her medical degree from the University of Virginia and completed her family medicine residency at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center.
When she isn’t working with patients, she spends time with her husband and their 3 grown children. She enjoys knitting, crocheting, baking, hiking and reading, especially biographies and mysteries.
