Behavioral Health and Counseling

At Atrium Health Primary Care Cabarrus Family Medicine, we know that caring for the whole person – mind, body and spirit – is a key to good health. We offer virtual behavioral health for patients at all offices and we offer onsite counseling at four locations:

Sports Medicine and Injury Care

Our board-certified sports medicine physicians provide care to people of all ages, from experienced athletes to weekend warriors and beyond. From rotator cuffs, knees, feet and ankles to hands, wrists, necks, backs and hips, we treat all aspects of non-operative injuries. We also provide injection therapies for osteoarthritis and can help you begin an exercise program. We offer sports medicine at our Poplar Tent location:

Travel Medicine

The chance of a traveler getting sick is up to 50 percent, depending on where you go. You not only have to worry about common problems such as traveler’s diarrhea and the flu, but also diseases you may have read about and never seen: malaria, typhoid or dengue fever. Come see us 6 to 8 weeks before your trip, so you can get the appropriate vaccinations, travel prescriptions and other information to help keep you safe while traveling. We offer travel medicine at our Mt. Pleasant location:
