At Atrium Health, we will be with you every step of the way through your surgery journey. To get started, follow these simple steps:

• Step 1: Contact HealthCoach from GE (1-866-272-6007) to get information on the GE Hip and Knee Centers of Excellence and determine eligibility requirements.
• Step 2: For more information about choosing Atrium Health Mercy for your hip or knee surgery, contact GHS@atriumhealth.org.

Patient Navigator

Atrium Health’s patient navigator program guides patients and care partners through their surgery experience, every step of the way. We strive to ensure that each patient has a seamless experience, a knowledgeable and accessible resource for questions and concerns, and a trusted advocate within our healthcare system. Our patient navigators serve as a single point of contact for each patient and assists with:

• Explaining the process and what to expect
• Assisting in surgeon selection
• Coordinating and scheduling appointments
• Coordinating the sharing of medical information (e.g., records, imaging, etc.)
• Ensuring access to needed services
• Linking patient to needed providers
• Assisting with travel and logistics
