Residency Application Information

The Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program at the Carolinas Medical Center selects its residents via the National Residency Matching Program utilizing the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS).

Required information:

• Three letters of recommendation
• Dean’s Letter
• Personal Statement
• USMLE Scores
• Transcripts

We require the same information as ERAS. For the 2022-23 residency interview/selection season, the application deadline is not yet determined (but will likely be in late October, 2022) and will be based on the ERAS 2022 residency applicant timeline.

Interview offer timeline is not yet determined.

We will have 3 interview dates for 2022-2023:

• December 12, 2022
• December 19, 2022
• January 23, 2023
