Who Can Apply

  • Graduates of an accredited residency program in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

  • Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

  • Current medical license or eligible for a medical license from the North Carolina Medical Board

Applicants are selected for interviews based on evidence of their commitment to a career caring for older adults, history of strong academic achievement, maturity, professionalism, and sound clinical skills.

Required materials:

  • ERAS application
  • Personal statement
  • Three letters of recommendation from physicians who have supervised you in a clinical setting, one of which must be from your program director
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • USMLE or COMLEX scores
