Jarrod Sheatsley completed his undergraduate education at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where he received a B.S., Summa Cum Laude, in Biology. As an undergraduate, he traveled to Australia as part of an International Scholar Laureate Program Delegation on Medicine. Jarrod enrolled Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine in Huntington, West Virginia, where he received his doctorate of medicine in 2011. He completed one year of surgical training prior to changing to family medicine. Dr. Sheatsley decided to change his specialty to family medicine in order to develop ongoing relationships with his patients.

His hobbies include: bicycle riding, spending time with his dogs, playing and watching rugby, swimming, and spending time with friends.
