Committed to Excellence in Medical Education
The Physician Education office offers a wide array of medical education opportunities based on courses designed to be in the forefront of medical technology, biomedical research, changes in the healthcare environment and advances in medicine. These efforts paved the way for the education office being awarded continued accreditation "with commendations" during our last review. The recognition was based on exceptional physician involvement, incorporating adult learning principles into our education curriculum, and departmental collaboration with performance improvement and case management leading to outcome-based education.
