Platelet dysfunction in TBI
Brief Description
This is a descriptive study of our current practice management of patients with TBI and associated platelet dysfunction. per current practice, patients receive transfused platelets if their platelet function is deranged, with repeated assessments of platelet function until the transfusions normalize their intrinsic platelet fuction. We will be assessing the efficacy of this protocol and also measuring mitrochondrial function from the same blood samples which are drawn for measuring platelet
