The Center for Faculty Excellence (CFE) supports and enhances the expertise and skills of Carolinas HealthCare System faculty in the areas of teaching, research, and leadership.
The CFE serves as a clearinghouse for offerings, resources, and expertise across departments throughout Carolinas HealthCare System. The Center provides resources, continuing education offerings and personal consultations to foster leadership, enhance instructional effectiveness, and improve the academic environment.
Congratulations to Dr. Darlyne Menscer Named Chair of AMA Council on Medical Education!
Darlyne Menscer, MD, Director of Geriatric Education and Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Carolinas Medical Center, has been named Chair of the American Medical Association (AMA) Council on Medical Education. Dr, Menscer has been a Council member since 2009 and will serve as Chair through June 2016. She is the first person from Carolinas HealthCare System to hold this title.
