Fees and Insurance
Fees for services (co-payments and deductibles) are due and payable at the time of your visit to Union Primary Care. For your convenience, we accept cash, checks, Visa and MasterCard. We participate with a variety of insurance plans. Please bring your insurance card (including Medicare or Medicaid) to each visit.
Medications and Labs
Pharmacy and Medications
We encourage you to secure refills at the time of your office visit. If you need to request a refill between visits, please contact your pharmacy. The pharmacy will work directly with our clinicians to process and fill the prescriptions within two days. Prescriptions and refills are only handled during office hours so we are able to review your medical records appropriately.
Lab Test Results
Test results take one to three business days; X-rays and biopsy results normally take up to one week. A clinical assistant will contact you by letter or phone with your results. If you have not received your results within one week for blood work or two weeks for X-rays and biopsies, please contact our office at 704-289-5617.
Certain health conditions may require the expertise of a specialist. Once a provider has determined the need for a specialist, a referral will be made. Our office will schedule an appointment for you and provide you with the appointment date and time as well as the contact information for that specialty. If you must reschedule your appointment, please call the specialist's office directly.
