As the medical call center supporting Carolinas HealthCare System (CHS) for the past 13 years, TeleHealth Solutions has a reliable team of qualified customer service representatives and registered nurses. Our nurses have years of hands-on nursing experience as well as exceptional interviewing and listening skills. Our most experienced nurses hold certifications from the National Certification for Telephone Nursing practice (NCC).

Signature Service Lines

CMC Transfer Center
The team at TeleHealth Solutions provides referring facilities with a responsive, reliable process for the transfer of patients to Carolinas Medical Center's Charlotte area facilities. The goal is to provide efficient coordination of patient referrals with MedCenter Air and Bed Management in order to manage complex patients. Follow-up documentation is provided to referring providers via electronic access to patient data.

Physician Referral
CMC Connect is designed to assist physicians, physician staff, hospitals and patients in finding a CHS physician for outpatient care. CMC Connect: 704-355-7500 / 800-821-1535

The Patient Placement Initiative refers consumers to primary care providers (including pediatricians and OB/GYNs) throughout CHS. Patient Placement Initiative (PPI): 704-512-7895

After Hours Support Services
TeleHealth Solutions customizes a package for each practice it serves to provide optimum satisfaction for physicians and patients. Please contact us to discuss the needs of your practice and determine the perfect package tailored to meet those needs.

  • Answering Service
    After-hours answering and paging services provide a seamless extension of your practice after hours.
  • Nurse Triage
    Protocol based triage and advice available for all patient populations.
  • Appointment Scheduling (IDX)
    Experienced staff can aid in scheduling appointments 24-hours a day as a convenience for patients and office staff.  
  • Appointment Reminder Calls
    Outbound reminder calls can be completed to assist in decreasing "no show" rates.
  • Reporting Services
    Specialized reporting is available upon request.

Live Answer Support: Carolinas Physicians Network (CPN) Co-Sourcing Team
To meet the service level goals of the Carolinas Physicians Network (CPN) Live Answer program, TeleHealth Solutions provides support in answering overflow volume and by scheduling appointments via IDX with practice provided instructions.

Additional Services Provided

Customer Care Line - TeleHealth Solutions answers the compliment/complaint line for CHS. Customer service representatives provide initial service recovery, document details of the call and route to the appropriate department for follow up communication.

Marketing Support - TeleHealth Solutions provides registration services for internal or external activities and events.

Outbound Call Projects - Continuous or one-time call projects are available.
