Summer Teen Volunteer Program
Levine Children’s Hospital is excited to offer a new, comprehensive Summer Teen Volunteer Program for high school students ages 15-18. The program’s focus is to provide students with education and experience in a hospital setting through volunteer service and informational learning sessions. The department of volunteer services looks for mature, self-driven, dependable teens who are seeking to serve the patients, families and staff members of Levine Children’s Hospital. The ideal candidate is a volunteer who is interested in learning more about the healthcare field.
Volunteers provide non-clinical support. There are a variety of opportunities throughout the hospital, including clerical work, child life assistance and nursing unit support, among many others.
Educational learning sessions give students the opportunity to connect with healthcare professionals and explore a broad variety of hospital specialties. By combining hands-on experience through volunteer work and education, the program fosters interests of the healthcare leaders of tomorrow, while serving the community of today.
Please be aware that there are limited positions available. Not all applicants are offered positions.
Applications for the Summer Teen Volunteer Program will be available January 1 through March 1. Apply Now.
