Lorri Connora, BS
Director of Recruitment and Retention


Lorri Connor joined Cabarrus College of Health Sciences in 2015. Lorri's career has followed her passion for college access and readiness - educating students and their families about the possibilities of college, and encouraging them to learn the process from admission to graduation. Lorri has 15 years of higher education experience focusing on admissions, financial aid, retention, and specialty/professional development training for faculty and staff. Lorri has BS in Criminal Justice from Western Carolina University and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Project Management with a concentration in Organizational Communication from Northeastern University.

In her spare time Lorri enjoys spending time with family, cooking, supporting her children at their extra-curricular sporting events, and watching NFL football (Go San Francisco 49ers!). She loves traveling back to Western North Carolina at least once a year to enjoy the peace, serenity, and simplicity of mountain life. 


McKenzie Allen, BA
Admissions Representative


McKenzie Allen joined Cabarrus College of Health Sciences in 2015. She is a Cabarrus County native and graduate from Lenoir-Rhyne University. McKenzie graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Human and Community Service. She brings recruiting and admissions experience from her previous work at Catawba College and Lenoir-Rhyne University. She has a passion for helping students throughout their admissions process. In her spare time, McKenzie enjoys spending time with family and friends. She loves live music, fall weather, practicing yoga and everything monogrammed. She looks forward to meeting you in her travels and assisting you throughout your admissions process.


Gloris (Gigi) Springs, BA


Gloris (Gigi) Springs joined the Cabarrus College student affairs team in July 2013. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Queens University while working full-time at the institution.

Gigi is a native Charlottean and has a passion in caring for the elderly and mentoring socio-economically disadvantaged young ladies. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family.
