Dr. Ghosh’s research interests focuses on translational study on development of early stage biomarkers and targeted therapy in pancreatic cancer, based on both in vivo and in vitro model to understand the role of molecular signaling pathways in development and progression of pancreatic cancer. In-vitro and in-vivo screening of anticancer agents from small molecule inhibitors and natural products, study of heterogeneity in biomarkers expression.
Dr. Ghosh’s research on hepatitis C virus (HCV) focused on to understand the role of cytoskeletal proteins in hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection, pathogenesis and its progression to hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), based on to understand the role of actin, microtubule and associated proteins in HCV transport, host and viral protein interaction and its progression to HCC.
