One-Day Surgery Center at Carolinas Medical Center
The One-Day Surgery center is located on the first floor of Medical Center Plaza on the Carolinas Medical Center campus in Charlotte, N.C. This center features 11 operating rooms, a recovery room area and stepdown unit. On average, we perform 1,000 surgeries per month.

Carolinas Surgery Center-Randolph
Carolinas Surgery Center-Randolph is a free-standing center located at 3621 Randolph Road, Suite 200. This non-hospital location is designed to help create a patient and physician friendly environment with elements that enhance physician productivity and efficiency in outpatient procedures such as Ophthalmology and Gastroenterology. Carolinas Medical Center has expanded its Gastroenterology-Endoscopy service line to this location which features a total of eight operating rooms. Four of the rooms are state-of-the art endoscopy suites with enhanced procedure room space as well as enhanced pre and post-procedure space.

In Huntersville, N.C., this facility features two operating rooms, a recovery room area and stepdown unit. Staff surgeons from Carolinas Medical Center-University perform most procedures at this location.

The Day Surgery Center at Carolinas Medical Center-Union
Located within Carolinas Medical Center-Union, (CMC-Union) in Monroe, NC., The Day Surgery Center has a 12-bed unit for patients who are being prepared of the operating room, the endoscopy procedure rooms, the Catheterization Lab or the Pain Clinic. It also ha the Phase II recovery unit. Surgeries are performed in the six main CMC-Union operating rooms. The Day Surgery Center serves approximately 700 patients per month.

Same Day Procedure Center
The Same Day Procedure Center at Carolinas Medical Center-Mercy in Charlotte serves patients who need endoscopy, chronic pain procedures, bronchoscopy and minor surgical procedures. The 10-bay area includes six procedure rooms. Patients may enter the Same Day Procedure Center's registration/ waiting area from a convenient, designated parking lot off Fifth Street.
