Anson Community Hospital
At Anson Community Hospital in Wadesboro, N.C., physical, occupational and speech therapy are available for inpatients, outpatients, and long-term care residents at our Lillie Bennett Nursing Center. For more information, call 704-695-3450.

Carolinas Medical Center
Rehabilitation The Physical and Occupational Therapy Department at Carolinas Medical Center provides physical and occupational therapy evaluations and treatments for inpatients and outpatients of all ages. Adult inpatient treatments include orthopaedic-surgical, medical-surgical, cardiac, neurological and wound care. Adult outpatient services treat patients with medical, orthopaedic, neurological and wound care disabilities. Pediatric inpatients may receive rehabilitative care for medical, orthopaedic, neurological, wound care or development delay problems. Pediatric outpatients are usually children with cerebral palsy and developmental delays. For more information, call 704-355-2382.

Cleveland Regional Medical Center
Through its unique partnership with the Cleveland County Family YMCAs, Cleveland Regional Medical Center (CRMC)'s rehabilitation services deliver a full spectrum of care, including physical, occupational and speech therapy, as well as a certified Cardiac Rehab Program. The partnership gives patients continuity of care, from the hospital bed to daily fitness maintenance programs at the YMCA. This seamless approach to healthier lifestyles assures patients richer lives and independent living. Certified therapists provide inpatient services at CRMC in Shelby, N.C., as well as nearby Cleveland Pines Nursing Center and Crawley Memorial Hospital. Outpatient rehabilitation services are available at Cleveland Regional Rehab, located with the YMCA in a new 67,000-square-foot facility. Carolinas Medical Center-Pineville
Rehabilitative, speech and occupational therapy are available on an inpatient basis at Carolinas Medical Center-Pineville in Pineville, N.C., and on an outpatient basis through CPTN. Inpatient care includes postsurgical needs, deconditioning for long-term patient stays, orthopaedic needs, wounds, pain control, and occupational and speech therapy. Carolinas Medical Center-Union
Carolinas Medical Center-Union in Monroe, N.C., has both patient and outpatient rehabilitative services, including physical therapy (neurology, orthopaedics and postsurgical, acute and chronic neck/back pain, amputees and prosthetics, wound care), speech language pathology (neurological, dysphagia, voice/hearing, oncology, medical/surgical, pulmonary) and occupational therapy (CVA and neurology, orthopaedics, postsurgical, pulmonary and oncology, and cardiac). Carolinas Medical Center-University
In addition the standard rehabilitative services for adults and children, the team of therapists at Carolinas Medical Center-University Rehabilitation Services specialize in treating children with a variety of diagnoses including developmental delay, orthopaedic concerns, muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, stroke, speech-language development, and handwriting concerns. Our electromyography and nerve conduction studies produce useful diagnostic information for carpal tunnel syndrome, generalized polyneuropathies, cervical or lumbar radiculopathies, neuromuscular transmission disorders, plexopathies, myopathies, and motor neuron degeneration. Valdese Hospital
In Valdese, N.C., the Rehabilitation Services Department at Valdese Hospital delivers physical, speech and occupational therapy to inpatients, outpatients, residents at College Pines Nursing Center and patients of the hospital's Home Healthcare Department.
