Carolinas Rehabilitation's inpatient services include a total of 172 licensed beds at two locations. Our main inpatient facility is one of the largest, not-for-profit, freestanding rehabilitation facilities of its kind in the United States. This facility, with 133 beds, is located adjacent to Carolinas Medical Center, providing patients accessibility to the most sophisticated acute-care center in the region. An additional 39 inpatient rehabilitation beds are located at CMC-Mercy.

Every year, Carolinas Rehabilitation achieves one of the highest rates in the region for the number of patients who are able to return home.
