EMS NIGHT OUT This night is a quarterly educational event sponsored by Medical Center Air for Pre-hospital and hospital staff aimed at addressing current trends in the trauma or transport environment. A "night out" with Medical Center Air includes an expert lecturer on the chosen topic, two CEUs, food and drinks, give-a ways, aircraft display, and the Backboard Award. Please contact the EMS Night Out Committee if interested in hosting or attending an event at 704-355-7620 EMS Backboard Award: This award is given to a provider or group that demonstrates the EMS core values and beliefs for their community and / or functions above the call of duty in times of crisis so that others may live. Winners are recognized at EMS Nights Out, and their names appear on a plaque outside of the Trauma Room at Carolinas Medical Center Emergency Department.
