The foundation of Carolinas HealthCare System's behavioral health group is the Psychiatric Emergency Department, located at Behavioral Health Center (BHC) CMC Randolph. The region's only 24-hour psychiatrist-staffed facility, this emergency department is integrated with Carolinas HealthCare's Behavioral Health Clinical Call Center, telemedicine services and emergency service sites and is staffed by qualified behavioral health providers.

Direct access to the clinician-staffed Call Center is easy. Just call 800-418-2065 or 704-444-2400. The center operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. On-call clinicians can provide advice or receive referrals from behavioral healthcare providers. They can also help employers, family members or individuals who need guidance at the time when they need it most.
