Chris Teigland, MD directs a team of physicians at Carolinas Medical Center which offers a variety of treatment options for patients with small (less than 4 cm) renal tumors. In addition to the traditional treatments for renal cell carcinoma, the Carolinas Medical Center Multidisciplinary Program for the Management of Small Renal Tumors offers patients access to cutting-edge technologies such as laparoscopic and percutaneous cryotherapy, laparoscopic partial nephrectomy, and percutaneous radiofrequency ablation.
