What should I expect in a nutrition counseling session?
The nutritionist will take an extensive dietary history and learn specific information about your
individual nutritional concerns. Once your nutritional needs are assessed, the nutritionist will
offer recommendations and suggestions as appropriate. The session can be as structured as walking
away is prepared to discuss your nutritional concerns. This sheet should be received by Carolinas
Integrative Health at least one day prior to the nutrition counseling session.

Nutrition counseling is now available on Monday mornings. Please call Carolinas Integrative Health at

Laurie Bremenour, M.S., R.D., L.DN. holds professional memberships in the Charlotte Dietetic
Association, American Dietetic Association and the National Kidney Foundation. She has a special
interest in weight management, sports nutrition and the special dietary restrictions associated
with renal insufficiency.
