PGY-4 Residents
Justin Alexander, MD Justin Alexander, MD (PGY-4)
Justin graduated from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and did his transitional year in Grand Rapids, Michigan. His PM&R interests include musculoskeletal medicine, sports medicine, prosthetics and orthotics and acupuncture. In his spare time, he enjoys basketball, soccer, running, music and traveling.
Corinne Locke, MD Corinne Locke, MD (PGY-4)
Corinne grew up in the Maryland/DC area and attended medical and graduate school at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. She completed her internship at Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Va. Her PM&R interests are currently broad, and range from brain injury to musculoskeletal to EMGs. Outside of work, she enjoys anything outdoors, including hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding and backpacking.
Terrence Pugh, MD Terrence Pugh, MD (PGY-4)
Terrence graduated from the University of Alabama and attended the University of Alabama School of Medicine. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at the UAB-Montgomery Internal Medicine Residency Program. He is currently interested in musculoskeletal medicine and sports medicine. In his spare time, he enjoys listening to music and watching and participating in football and basketball.
Charles Rhoads, MD Charles Rhoads, MD (PGY-4)
Chaz originally hails from upstate New York. He went to college outside of Harrisburg, PA, before doing medical school/internship at Ohio State University. His initial interests in PM&R include neurorehabilitation and research. He is married and enjoys spending time at home with his wife and two dogs, a Dachshund and a beagle. In his free time, he enjoys swimming, grilling, trivia, and anything Marvel Comics-related.

Erik Diebolt, DO, MS Erik Diebolt, DO, MS (PGY-3)
Erik grew up in Austin, Texas and graduated from Western University of Health Sciences in 2011. After medical school, he stayed in Southern California to complete his traditional internship at Downey Regional Medical Center. His interests in the field of PM&R include: medical device design, spinal cord, spine, and sports medicine. During his free time he enjoys social events, hiking, whitewater kayaking, fly fishing, and live music. He recently purchased his first home located in the Dilworth neighborhood of Charlotte.
Ankit Gulati, MD Ankit Gulati, MD (PGY-3)
Ankit graduated from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine and completed his internship at Wayne State University in Michigan. His PM&R interests include musculoskeletal and sports medicine. In his free time, he likes watching college football where he avidly supports his alma mater, The University of Alabama. He also enjoys playing basketball, running, and spending quality time with his new fiancée Erica exploring all Charlotte has to offer.
Alicia Harrison, MD (PGY-3) Alicia Harrison, MD (PGY-3)
Alicia graduated from SUNY Upstate in Syracuse, NY and completed a Preliminary Medicine internship at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Binghamton, NY. Her PM&R interests are broad and include musculoskeletal medicine, spinal cord injury and prosthetics/orthotics. In her spare time, she enjoys anything outdoors (running, kickball, etc), watching football, and taking trips to the beach.
Nicholas Wieczorek, MD Nicholas Wieczorek, MD (PGY-3)
Nicholas graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed his internship year at The Jewish Hospital of Cincinnati. Nicholas' rehab interests are broad and include general rehab, musculoskeletal medicine and integrative medicine. When he is not dreaming of Skyline chili you may find him playing soccer, basketball or simply enjoying the outdoors.

PGY-2 Residents
Matthew Adamkin, MD Matthew Adamkin, MD (PGY-2)
Matthew is from Louisville, Kentucky and received his undergraduate degree at Miami University before completing medical school at the University of Louisville. He completed his internship year in internal medicine in Richmond, VA, at Virginia Commonwealth University. His interest in PM&R is broad and not yet defined. In his spare time he enjoys all things related to sports, particularly football and basketball. He is a huge Ohio State fan, Go Bucs!
Nathaniel Crider, MD Nathaniel Crider, MD (PGY-2)
Nate is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical School. He is curious, optimistic and likes to see patients get better. His medical interests are broad and include inpatient rehabilitation of central nervous system injuries, cancer rehab, palliative care, and basic science research. Outside of work he enjoys running, playing tennis and basketball.
Cara Grome, MD Cara Grome, MD (PGY-2)
Cara graduated from SUNY Upstate Medical University and completed her transitional year at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse, NY. Her initial PM&R interests include Musculoskeletal and Sports Medicine, as well as pediatric rehabilitation. When she's not spending time with her Pomeranian, Lola, she loves anything related to the outdoors, live music, snowboarding, hanging out with friends and family, traveling, and getting in shape with CrossFit.
Andrew Parker, MD Andrew Parker, MD (PGY-2)
Andrew attended University of Alabama School of Medicine (UAB) for undergraduate and medical school. He has degrees in history and biology. He completed his internal medicine intern year at UAB-Montgomery. His PM&R interests include Musculoskeletal, Sports Medicine, and Pain Management. Outside of medicine he enjoys UAB sports, NBA basketball, football, weight training, movies, reading, and traveling, when possible.
Julian Willoughby, MD Julian Willoughby, MD (PGY-2)
Julian completed his degree in chemical engineering at North Carolina State University; he graduated from the UNC School of Medicine while also earning a Master Degree in public health at the UNC School of Public health. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Wake Forest University. He is interested in Musculoskeletal Medicine, Sports Medicine, EMG and improving the use of technology in healthcare. Julian has lived in North Carolina all his life and in his free time, enjoys time with family and friends, disc golf, football, and reading. 
Michael Worobel, MD Michael Worobel, DO (PGY-2)
Michael is originally from Minnesota and attended his undergrad year at Millsaps College in Jackson, MS, where he majored in Biology and played baseball. From there Michael attended medical school at Nova Southeastern University and did his intern year in General Surgery in Fort Worth, TX. Michael's rehabilitation interests are Pain Management, Musculoskeletal and Sports Medicine. Outside of rehab, Michael’s interests are baseball, hunting, fishing and hockey.
