Benjamin Brusch, MD (PGY-4)
Dr. Brusch graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He completed a Transitional Year internship at the University of North Dakota. In his free time, he enjoys water skiing, golf, and playing hockey.

Dr. Cunneen graduated from State University of New York-Upstate Medical University. He completed his internship at Stony Brook University Hospital, Stony Brook, NY in Internal Medicine. In his free time, he enjoys staying active through athletic competition in basketball, tennis, and racquet ball.

Justin Gilbert, MD (PGY-4)
Dr. Gilbert graduated from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed his internship at Ochsner Medical Center in Jefferson, LA. In his free time, he enjoys playing competitive soccer, enjoys tennis, running, swimming, and golf.

Elise McClanahan, MD (PGY-4)
Dr. McClanahan graduated from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine She completed her internship at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, NC in Internal Medicine. She enjoys traveling, water-skiing, water polo, and flag football.

Jonathan Silverman, MD (PGY-4)
Dr. Silverman graduated from the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, OH and completed his transitional year at Kettering Medical Center in Kettering, OH. His initial PM&R interests include interventional pain and musculoskeletal and sports medicine. He enjoys home improvement and spends most of his free time camping and cycling with his family.

Zachary Bailowitz, MD

Zachary Bailowitz, MD (PGY-3)
Dr. Bailowitz graduated from the University of Arizona. He completed his internship at Tucson Hospitals Medical Education Program. His hobbies include hiking, bike riding, soccer, racquetball, basketball and weight training. Dr. Bailowitz has interests in playing music and he plays the guitar, bass and some drums.

Lauren Chambers, DO (PGY-3)
Dr. Chambers graduated from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her internship at Danville Regional Medical Center. Dr. Chambers enjoys yoga, soccer, music, philosophy and cooking.

 
Ignatios Papas, DO

Ignatios Papas, DO (PGY-3)
Dr. Papas graduated from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship at Mantee Memorial Hospital. Dr. Papas’s hobbies and interests are World Cup Soccer, kayaking, traveling to Cyprus, playing Pink Floyd on acoustic guitar and paddle boarding.

Dr. Schmidt graduated from the University of Tennessee. He completed his internship at the University Of Tennessee Health Science Center College Of Medicine. Dr. Schmidt’s hobbies and interests are cooking, dog ownership, mission and service work, musical performance, scuba diving (open water certified) and Sport Fencing.

Dr. Tran graduated from Southwestern Medical School. He completed his internship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Tran enjoys indoor and sand volleyball, playing the piano and guitar, being involved in Christian Fellowship study group and medical missions.

He completed his internship at Indiana Health Ball Memorial.  His hobbies and interests include cycling, hiking, running, swimming, golfing, tennis, camping and fishing.  He also enjoys playing guitar and piano as well gardening, and cooking.

He completed his internship at Creighton University Medical Center. His interests are to spend time doing community, academic, clinical and church related volunteering services. Dr. Payne graduated from Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her internship at the Riverside Regional Medical Center. She enjoys spending free time outdoors and being active, playing disc golf, water sports, boating and horseback riding.  She also loves taking care of her cat and two dogs and assisting in her family’s cattle farm and muscadine grape vineyard.

She also likes making memorable projects with reclaimed wood, Mod Podge and old photos and enjoys training her service dog and spending time with her family.
