The Scope of Prostate Cancer
Prostate cancer is the second-most common cancer for men in the United States after non-melanoma skin cancer. About 200,000 men were diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2010, and there were 28,560 deaths. According to the National Cancer Institute, 15 percent of men in the United States will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during their lifetime.
