This November, women and children in Union County and surrounding areas will have greater access to a higher level of specialized women's and children's healthcare service. Opening Nov. 17, the new Women's and Children's Center at Carolinas HealthCare System Union will serve as a coveted healthcare destination for women and their families as the high level of care and service currently provided at Carolinas HealthCare System Union will be matched by new first-class accommodations.
From pediatric and adolescent care to obstetrics and gynecologic surgery, the center will provide a network of highly specialized physicians and professional staff to meet the needs of women and children through every stage of their lives.
"The new facility will complement the excellent knowledge and experience of our obstetricians and pediatricians, as well as our excellent nursing and clinical staff," said Benion S. Horton, MD, chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Carolinas HealthCare System Union and Medical Director at Union Obstetrics and Gynecology. "Residents of Union County and surrounding areas will now have access to the most modern and advanced facility in the Metro area and will benefit from the enhanced care services now offered for those with complex healthcare needs."
