Outpatient pediatric care is offered at multiple locations. Inpatient care is available at Levine Children's Hospital and Jeff Gordon Children's Hospital. Levine Children's Hospital is a 234-bed children's hospital located on the campus of Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. It has twice received the national distinction by U.S. News & World Report as one of “America's Best Children's Hospitals.” Jeff Gordon Children's Hospital is a 53-bed hospital affiliated with Levine Children's Hospital and is home to the only epilepsy monitoring unit in the region.
Our children's epilepsy center is the only level III pediatric center in North Carolina designated by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers. The center includes a four-bed pediatric epilepsy monitoring unit where a baseline electroencephalography is performed to measure and record the electrical activity of the brain.
