Billing and Insurance
Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics accepts most major insurance carriers and will assist you in filing claims for health care services. Should you have any questions about any insurance or billing issues, please call our office during normal business hours.
Co-payment, deductibles and co-insurance amounts are due at the time of service. We accept cash, checks and some major credit cards. Once your insurance is file, any outstanding balance will be billed to you. If you have any questions about insurance or billing issues, please call our office during normal business hours.
Medicaid and most private insurance companies are accepted. Please remember to bring your insurance or Medicaid cards to each visit so we may file your claims properly.
Prescriptions and Refills
Please bring all prescription medications, including vitamins and herbal supplements, to each appointment, even if prescribed by another physician. Whenever possible, please ask for all refills of continuous medications during your appointment.
If your prescription expires before your next visit, please contact our office for refills. You will need to call 704-403-2626 and select option 2. Please allow three business days to process refill requests. All controlled substance prescriptions must be picked up in our office (or part of one of our approved processes) and all other non-controlled substance prescriptions must be faxed to your pharmacy. Please provide us with your current pharmacy.
We have two new programs to help you with prescriptions, you can complete the mail in program and receive forms and envelopes to send requests and self-addressed stamped envelopes to us for your prescriptions. We ask that you send these in two weeks in advance to ensure ample process and mail time. We also have a program you can sign up for where you will call in your prescriptions each month as usual, but you can pick up the filled prescription at the Pavilion Pharmacy. (They will call you when it is ready.) This would save you a step.
