The Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) fellowship is a three-year program. Our program is on a December application cycle.

Applications are accepted through Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Our program participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).

  • Three letters of recommendations from physicians who supervised you in clinical settings, one of which must be from a program director
  • Curriculum vitae


Candidates with the following experience will be considered:

  • Completion of an accredited obstetrics and gynecology or urology residency program
  • Eligibility for and maintenance of medical licensure in the state of North Carolina

Selection for Interview

Applicants are selected for interview based on academic achievement, research skills, extracurricular activities and intangible qualities such as leadership skills, professionalism, attitude, and commitment to a career in women’s health care and pelvic floor disorders.

Invitations to interview are sent through ERAS. Fellowship application deadline is March 18, 2016.

Selected applicants interviews will be held:

April 29, 2016 and May 10, 2016.
