The program is completed in seven semesters of full time study for students entering with a BSN. For those students entering with a MSN the program is completed in seven semesters but with a reduced per semester credit load. A more detailed overview of the curriculum can be viewed below.
Human patient and other lower fidelity simulation is used throughout the program’s curriculum. Students have ongoing access to the CAE Healthcare-HPS Simulator, birthing simulators and all Laerdal Simulator Models. Additional simulated training occurs using central venous, arterial, nerve block, intubation, and other parts trainers.

The cost of the program consists of tuition and fees paid to UNC Charlotte, clinical fees paid to CMC Nurse Anesthesia Program and other associated expenses. An estimate of total program cost can be found in the hyperlinks below.

The Forgivable Education Loan for Service was established by the North Carolina General Assembly in 2011 and should be available for the 2016-17 academic year. The loan provides financial assistance to qualified students who are committed to working in North Carolina in fields designated as critical employment shortage areas.
