Family Resource Library at Levine Children's Hospital

The Family Resource Library at Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte, NC, provides a large gathering place for families to relax, as well as meeting and classroom spaces. With a pediatric health library, reading areas and computers with internet/wi-fi access, the library allows families to do further research, connect with their own family members or connect with other families facing similar diagnoses.

We also have a full-time medical librarian who can conduct research for you. Available from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, our family resource librarian can assist you with finding information about many illnesses and conditions. Our library is also open some evenings and weekends.

The library is a result of a gift from the Junior League of Charlotte and a gracious gift honoring Samuel B. Rankin by his parents, Nancy and David H. Rankin.
