Carolinas HealthCare System

Landing Zone Operations -- "LZ Ops" -- is an educational opportunity that includes a lecture and hands-on education on how to safely locate and setting up a landing zone for an air medical helicopter. It also covers EMS operations around the helicopters as well as identifying appropriate patients for helicopter evacuation. Please contact your LZ Ops Coordinator or your Outreach Base Liaison in your service area to arrange a class.

MedCenter air offers an Observer Program that invites healthcare professionals (nurses, physicians and emergency services providers) who are interested in critical care transport to spend a day with the MCA crews.
