Research Interests

Ms. Whitney’s research interests are to be at the forefront with the collaborative team in discovering effective treatments and prevention in all areas associated with rehabilitative medicine. She has been lead coordinator on more than 30 sponsored pharmaceutical and device trials, primarily in the area of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and including cardiology and oncology. She has contributed as a writer in multiple investigator-initiated grants and has an in-depth knowledge and participation in monitoring and regulatory compliance. Another research interest is to discover new uses for existing drugs in the neuro-protective and rehabilitative arena.
