Huntersville Oaks, provides short-term nursing and therapy for individuals recovering from surgery, illness or an accident. Located in Huntersville, North Carolina, Huntersville Oaks is part of a movement toward more home-like environments in Carolinas HealthCare System's nursing and rehabilitation facilities. Featuring an innovative design of four "neighborhoods" – each with two households – Huntersville Oaks creates a warm setting in a community-like environment.
After hospitalization, skilled nursing and rehabilitation programs at Huntersville Oaks can help residents achieve their maximum functional capacity and return to their homes and communities in the shortest time possible.
Residents may receive physical, occupational and speech therapy supported by our staff of physicians, nurses, social workers, nutritionists and other specialists. Our skilled nurses can provide a variety of treatments including tube feeding, wound care, IV medications, prosthetic management and oxygen therapy.
Our long-term care services are designed for individuals who can no longer be cared for at home or in an assisted-living facility.
