The Stanly Regional Medical Center Foundation was established in 1990 as a not-for-profit, tax-exempt corporation to serve as provider and custodian of gifts and bequests for Stanly Memorial Hospital, now Carolinas HealthCare System Stanly. The medical professionals at Carolinas HealthCare System Stanly strive to provide the finest health care available while the Foundation works to cultivate the financial resources needed to adopt clinical innovations and elevate the quality of care in our community.
Contributions are not used to subsidize the medical center’s operating costs or pay staff salaries or expenses. Currently, funds are used to strengthen the endowment and to provide grants for programs and projects to improve the health of the communities served by Carolinas HealthCare System Stanly.
The Foundation is governed by a volunteer board of directors that represents a variety of professions from throughout Stanly and neighboring counties. These volunteers oversee the fundraising programs, carefully manage the investment of the endowment funds and allocate funds to specific areas of need.
Some people give money, some give time and still others give both to support our Foundation. Find out how you can support Carolinas HealthCare System Stanly.
