Pancreatic Cancer Treatment

Early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer is difficult. With few early symptoms and fast progression, many people are diagnosed at advanced stages. That makes specialized treatment even more essential.

Levine Cancer Institute has a highly trained and experienced team of specialists focused on treating pancreatic cancer, enabling you to stay close to home while receiving the most effective, comprehensive care available. Part of our nationally recognized hepatopancreaticobiliary (HPB) program, this team is composed of renowned experts in the fields of gastroenterology, hepatology, oncology, radiation oncology, interventional radiology, pathology and pancreas surgery.

In addition to traditional cancer treatments such as chemotherapy and radiation, our fellowship-trained physicians offer multiple techniques and treatments for pancreatic cancer, including:

  • Laparoscopic/robotic pancreatic resection
  • Minimally invasive approach to HPB surgery
  • Radiofrequency ablation/microwave ablation
  • Transarterial chemo/radioembolization
