Levine Cancer Institute has registered dietitians on staff to help patients develop a plan to nourish their bodies throughout cancer treatment—including supplements for those having a difficult time finding foods they can handle—and during recovery. Nutritional support available includes:

Healthy Cooking Club

Use the latest nutrition research to make delicious and quick dishes at the Healthy Cooking Club! New seasonal recipes are demonstrated every month with samples and recipes for all participants. Whether you are a seasoned cook or new to the kitchen, you will learn fun new ways to eat better.

Weight Management Workshop

Diets and programs promising to help you lose weight are advertised everywhere. How do you know what really works and is safe? Learn quick and easy ways to make healthy food choices in this fun, hands-on class.

Nutrition for Survivors

Eating Well After Cancer Treatment

This class reviews healthy eating for any cancer survivor who has finished treatment. Learn how to apply the latest research to choose the best foods, understand food labels and prepare foods in a healthy way.

Eating Well During Cancer Treatment

Keeping up with good nutrition during cancer treatment is important. It helps to keep you strong, enhance the effectiveness of treatment, and ensure that your treatment is uninterrupted. During this class, we'll discuss how treatment can affect your nutrition. We will review ways you and your caregivers can manage nutrition related side effects.

Breast Cancer Nutrition

There is a lot of information out there about nutrition and breast cancer and it's hard to keep it all straight! This class clears up the confusion and covers common nutrition concerns that come up after breast cancer treatment.
