The Gynecologic Oncology Program at Levine Cancer Institute is the region's largest and most comprehensive program for women with gynecologic cancers. The program offers evaluation of difficult gynecologic problems for patients referred by their physicians.
Gynecologic Oncology Treatment
We provide all available treatment options including:
- Gynecologic oncology surgery (including of advanced minimally invasive and robotic surgery)
- Radiation therapy
- Reconstructive surgery
- Treatment for pre-malignant lesions of the female genital tract
- Access to current clinical trials
Counseling and other support services are available to assist women and their families in coping with cancer. The area is staffed by nurse specialists in chemotherapy, an oncology pharmacist, a nutritionist, a counselor and a chaplain.
Levine Cancer Institute provides outpatient therapies, which formerly required hospitalization. Treatment is provided in an area specially designed for infusions, chemotherapy and transfusions.
