What is Kidney Cancer?

Kidney cancer is cancer that starts in the kidney. Your kidneys (you have two) are bean-shaped organs, each about the size of your fist. They're located behind your abdominal organs, with one kidney on each side of your spine. In adults, the most common type of kidney cancer is called renal cell carcinoma.

Advanced Colorectal Cancer Diagnosis and Care at Levine Cancer Institute

At Levine Cancer Institute, a team of oncologists and other experts in the field of cancer research work to tailor treatment to each patient. These doctors participate in various clinical trials, offering opportunities to discover what is best for patient outcomes.

In addition to clinical excellence, the Institute offers a broad range of emotional support programs designed to help patients and family members cope with the issues related to life during and after cancer treatment.
