Established in 1996, TeleHealth Solutions® has grown to be one of the finest telemedicine/telephone triage companies in the southern United States. A part of Carolinas HealthCare System, this call center can enhance a physician practice by providing a reliable, phone triage staff and a dependable source of information where families can access health advice 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

TeleHealth Solutions® offers four unique services.

TeleHealth Solutions Prime
TeleHealth Solutions Prime relieves some of the on-call burden for more than 200 physicians by providing after-hours coverage on weekdays from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. Coverage also is available for lunch and staff meetings.

TeleHealth Solutions Prime also offers 24-hour coverage on holidays, during inclement weather and on weekends. Registered nurses even provide a follow-up service to the physician's office for review the next morning. Professional operators deliver other messages to the client's specifications. One fee includes unlimited answering services plus nurse triage.

Peds@Nite
This physician product offers the same as TeleHealth® Solutions Prime, but is specifically designed for pediatricians. TeleHealth uses only experienced pediatric registered nurses for these accounts. They are able to handle 90 percent of all advice calls without having to contact the physician. Staff can customize standing orders for each practice and phone in prescriptions.

Outreach Services
TeleHealth's Outreach Services can conduct customized surveys, new-member welcome calls, reminder calls, primary physician assignment calls and disease management follow-up calls. Many clients find it less expensive to out-source calling projects to TeleHealth than to commit their own limited resources to these vital projects.

TeleHealth Solutions 24
TeleHealth's managed care nurse advice line operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Each client receives an account that is customized for their specific population. These calls are processed using the TeleHealth Triage tool. Customized reports are created for clients, using this extensive database.

Additional cost savings are realized by the managed care company by using TeleHealth Solutions 24's ability to give unique authorization numbers or codes for each member's visits to the ED or urgent care. Network provider lists are maintained on-line for optimum referral patterns by TeleHealth nurses.

TeleHealth Solutions® achieved accreditation by URAC, the national accrediting body for health call centers. TeleHealth Solutions® is one of less than twenty-four medical call centers -- nationwide -- to achieve this level of certification.

TeleHealth Solutions® was awarded this prestigious honor based on professional standards for confidentiality, staff and program qualifications, as well as triage and health information. This certification acknowledges the level of quality and commitment reflected in each personal contact made by the TeleHealth Solutions' team.

The American Accreditation Health Care Commission promotes quality and accountability for healthcare organizations. The group offers accreditation programs in ten areas of healthcare, including health call centers.
