Our current housestaff includes 16 PGY-1 residents, of which 10 are Categorical interns, and 6 are Preliminary Interns. Our preliminary interns enter fields in everything from Radiology, Dermatology, Anesthesia, Physical Medicine & Rehab and Ophthalmology. We have 10 PGY 2 and 10 PGY 3 residents, so a total of 36 residents all together. All of our residents are from US medical schools. Many come from medical schools in the Southeast, but we interview students from Washington and California to Maine and Florida!

We pride ourselves on an excellent espirit-de-corps! We are a closely-knit program, and you will get to know your fellow residents extremely well. You will easily know the entire faculty (and they will know you!) within just a couple of months. We foster an environment where there is always lots of support, whether it is from residents or faculty - and we are extremely receptive to ideas and suggestions from our housestaff. We think of it as how we can get even better!
