Students who are scheduled to complete all program requirements no later than the last day of the second summer session following the spring commencement may participate in spring exercises, with program chair approval. This includes students lacking no more than six semester hours of credit toward completion of all degree requirements or who have a single internship or practicum worth no more than fifteen credit hours, which will be graded on a pass/fail basis. Students must submit all necessary paperwork for graduation (see Intent to Graduate and Graduation Clearance form listed above) by the stated deadlines in order to participate. Diplomas will be available for pick up once all degree requirements have been completed.
Please email Cara Lursen to let her know you are not participating in the ceremony. You can pick up your diploma the week following graduation. Look out for an email from Cara letting you know when it’s ready!
Please contact Cara Lursen (Cara.Lursen@cabarruscollege.edu or 704.403.1614) with any questions.
