For more than a decade, the McKay Department of Urology has provided a weekly, region-wide urologic education program for physicians and allied healthcare providers. These conferences at CMC are broadcast to three other urologic communities via their telemedicine sites:
The program is varied among four formats: a guest speaker, a case conference, discussions of morbidity and mortality and a journal club. This initiative of urologists throughout the region can keeps abreast of the latest developments in urology, ensuring the best care available for their patients. This initiative is the only urologic continuing medical education program in the region, and it reaches a large number of individuals who make a difference every day through their care of people with urologic disease in our region.
