More than 75,000 procedures are performed by Radiology and Imaging Services at CMC-University each year.
Located on the ground floor of the hospital, Diagnostic Services offers a wide range of tests and procedures to help give physicians a glimpse of what is going on inside the body in order to accurately diagnose and treat illness and injury. We offer the latest technology in computerized radiography. This works in much the same way traditional X-rays work; however, instead of using film, a plate is used. This ensures faster results for both patient and doctor.
For our patients' convenience, we also offer X-rays at University Medical Park, Building 2000, close by for post-doctor visits.
Staffed by registered technologists, this department offers services 24 hours a day for emergency cases. Many diagnostic test results are available via remote access to physician which ensures faster communication and diagnosis in an emergency, as well as allowing specialists who may be located off-site to view your test results for more accurate diagnosis. Your physician will determine which procedure or test will provide the best information.
We are proud to offer a broad range of interventional radiology and diagnostic procedures, including:
