Insurance & Billing

Your health plan may pay for all or part of the cost of your care. Please contact your insurance plan administrator or medical network to ensure there are no limitations to your access to care at CMC-Union. Co-payments, deductible and payment for services not covered by insurance are expected at the time of service.

At CMC-Union, you will receive a bill from the hospital that includes daily charges for your room, nursing care, meals, housekeeping, laundry, building maintenance and admitting, and medical records. Additional charges may include the cost of diagnostic tests, therapeutic services, medications, and supplies ordered by your physician.

You may also receive bills from hospital-based physician groups involved in your care. These physicians are not employees of the hospital so you will be billed separately for the services they provide. It is important to note that although CMC-Union may have a contract with your insurance company, we can't guarantee that our hospital-based physician groups also have contracts.
